The clinic is housed on a Lions Club compound, where permanent dental equipment like dental chairs can be left year-round. In addition to the central clinic, Sonrisas also sends portable satellite \u201cmini-clinics\u201d to smaller villages that are out of range of our central clinic. Here we especially focus on children, including those in those in the orphanages surrounding the village. Knowledge of supply shipment, food, accommodations, and local contacts have been steadily improved over the years, so that now our Honduras trip is a smooth-running operation.
